Baby Baker: It’s A… | Gender Reveal Photography

BOY! 

This impromptu session is near and dear to my heart, as I found out in January that I’ll be an aunt again! Once my sister, Jess, decided to find out the gender of her child, she planned to host a gender reveal celebration with close family and friends so that we could all learn together if we’ll be welcoming a boy or girl to the family this summer.

After a nice dinner with loved ones, Jess was ready to cut into the reveal cake to see if she’s having a boy or a girl. Yes, she was finding out for the first time with us, because she somehow had the willpower not to peek at the envelope before dropping it off at the bakery!

After what felt like hours, she cut that first slice and, before the full piece of cake was even ready, she saw blue remnants on the knife itself and quickly realized it was a boy. It was a surreal moment, and I’m so glad I was able to experience it with her, all while capturing the emotions of family/friends in hearing the news during this special time. (Thank goodness for technology and remote triggers!)
